The Beastie Boys’ Paul’s Boutique Turns 20
This year marks the 20th anniversary of arguably The Beastie Boys’ best record, Paul’s Boutique. To commemorate the revered album’s birthday, The Beasties are reissuing all new remastered versions on vinyl, CD, and the always popular digital download in both regular and deluxe varieties. And for the obsessive collectors out there (me), the 20th Anniversary Commemorative Package comes with all aforementioned versions, a limited edition t-shirt, 5 music videos, full album commentary (!), and the crown jewel of the collection: an 8 foot long poster of the album’s cover art which of course features the original Paul’s Boutique. Check out The Beastie site for detailed info and to buy me that super deluxe set. (Wax and CD versions available February 10th, downloadable digital versions available now)

Here’s a chat with the Boys as they crack wise with Ian Rogers and special guest Money Mark (who incidentally hooked up with the Beasties during the recording of Paul’s Boutique):

And speaking of Money Mark…here’s a little video of Mark, Aaron Rose, and the awesome Omnichord with me in the edit studio during one of our many late nights as we continue to cut the Corita Kent short film (much more to come on that very soon!):
