Where The Wild Things Meet McFetridge (and Also Become Plastic Toys Made in Japan)
I was so pumped about the release of Spike Jonze’s Where The Wild Things Are trailer a few weeks ago that I completely forgot to mention that fellow champion, Beautiful Losers cast member, great artist and all around good dude who let me use his painted font for chumpchampion, Geoff Mcfetridge designed the title sequences. Check out these super stylized hand drawn cards below as well as in the trailer. Can’t wait to see more of his opening title work when the film roams onto movie screens this October!
And in other Wild Things related news…
As we wait and wait for October, here’s another bit of cross promotion to go wild for: Wild Things Kubricks! To commemorate the film, Japanese toy giant Medicom will be putting out a set of their ultra popular Kubrick series in the form of the Wild Things. Due out this October, start saving your lunch money now and prepare to rearrange your desk spaces accordingly.
