Just in time for the holidays comes Alma, an endearing Pixar-esque animated short film which calculatingly turns creepy in no less than five minutes flat. I’m talking “doll creepy”, which is slightly less creepy than “clown creepy” but on par with “puppet creepy”. Written and directed by Pixar alum Rodrigo Blaas, Alma has won several awards this year and is sure to win several more for the nightmares it will be leaving behind during it’s limited online run (viewings end December 31st).
