For the past week everyone’s been going on and on about Tron and I’ve been like, “Yeah, Dave Chappellewas hilarious as Tron but that was like, five years ago.” Then I saw the Tron Legacy trailer in 3D this weekend and I was like, “Ohhh yeah…The DudeTron.”
“Lazy Sunday”, the SNL Digital Short starring Chris Parnell and Andy Samberg that helped make SNL relevant again, was performed live for the first time ever last night on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. Backed with a new medley of old school hip hop by The Roots, “Lazy Sunday” is still “crazy delicious” after all these years.
Also…just for reference, here’s the original instant classic:
These days it seems like the only “news” anchors you can rely on are the ones on a comedy channel. The Daily Show with Jon Stewart once again takes Fox “News” to task and calls it like it is, this time finding inconsistencies in what Fox likes to call “Fair and Balanced” reporting.
At this point it’s like shooting fish in a barrel made of fish with a bowling ball gun. Seriously Fox News, who are you kidding? Just drop the whole “Fair and Balanced” act already, rename yourselves the Republican News Network and call it a day. I promise you, you’ll feel much feel much better about yourself knowing that you have at least a shred dignity.
Set your VCR machines tomorrow night cause Zach Galifianakis is appearing in your television boxes live (tape delayed) this Saturday night on Saturday Night Live!
In other related Zach Galifia”news”kis (see what I did there?):
President Barack Obama sure could use some help these days, but certainly not from these ex-Presidents. In the name of informing us about the Consumer Financial Protection Agency and why it’s important, Funny or Die presents a Presidential Reunion starring the all-star cast of Will Ferrell, Jim Carrey, Chevy Chase, Fred Armisen, Dana Carvey, Darrell Hammond, Dan Akroyd and Maya Rudolph directed by Ron Howard.
Hey bros some Friday funny for you with no offense to all yous who wears the Ed Hardy clothings per se, but here’s the second sick episode of The Ed Hardy Boyzin The Case of When That Hot Filipina Girl Lost Her Tramp Stamp At Mini-Golf. Along with the always funny Nick Kroll and Jon Daly as the Boyz, some super sick special bros join in on the crime fighting action. But I must say that the first episode of the Ed Hardy Boyz when they totally solved The Case of the Missing Sick Belt Buckle like is way sicker than this one bro. No disrespect.
And for like, you know reference per se, check out the first episode God willing:
Back in December we got a taste of David Cross’ new comedy sandwich which featured Will Arnett, Spike Jonze and Cross as the titular character in the UK (Channel 4) comedy The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret. And thanks to a little something called “the interwebs”, us Americanos get to laugh at Todd Margaret’s poor decision making as well. Here’s the pilot episode of The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret in three bite-sized portions suitable for snacking throughout the day.
A classic clip from TV Funhouse’s X Presidents on Saturday Night Live to get you in the mood for your Presidents’ Day festivities (how do you even celebrate Presidents’ Day?). Featuring the super-powered presidential team of Carter, Reagan, Ford and Bush Sr. along with cameos from Clinton, Dole, Bin Laden and a certain ambiguously gay duo.
