Three generations of art icons from their respective disciplines (or undisciplined as the case may be) join forces like a deformed Voltron as Gary Panter, Bob Zoell and Devin Flynn form ZPFfffft!!! at Scion Installation LA in Culver City.

From Scion:

““ZPFfffft!!!” brings together three generations of artists. Panter explains, “Devin and Bob and myself of are representatives of nearly equidistant generations, and it is interesting to see how artists of successive generations evolve the problems of iteration and mediums and the game of making art, to produce objects that prompt the mind and slow the moment of the encounter.”

The exhibition will include a 23-foot wall covered in Panter’s playful chalk drawings, as well as a series of small and affordable works; two 6-foot-by-12-foot paintings by Zoell; and a number of new works from Flynn, among other surprises.”

Tonight The Cinefamily’s Silent Movie Theater hosts a night of unconventional and uncommonly funny comedy as Eric Wareheim (of Adult Swim’s Tim and Eric Awesome Show Great Job!) and Doug Lussenhop (DJ Douggpound) join forces for an evening of surprise music videos, short films, video experiments and TV sneak peeks. Headlining the night’s shenanigans is the world premiere of Eric’s new music video for Major Lazer/Diplo for “Pon De Floor” (check out Major Lazer’s first azz kicking video here).

#2. Lady Pants

The crown jewel of Devin Flynn’s Y’all So Stupid channel on Adult Swim, this clip hit on so many levels this year. Comprised of crude animation, cruder commentary, a song you won’t be able to get out of your head for days, blatant rips on Steve Aoki and Mark the Cobra Snake, and best of all a C.H.U.D.S reference, this video made men dressing like girls look 100% hilarious. Unless, of course, you actually do wear lady pants. In which case, I feel sorry for your balls. STYLE CHUDS!!!
