“Lazy Sunday”, the SNL Digital Short starring Chris Parnell and Andy Samberg that helped make SNL relevant again, was performed live for the first time ever last night on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. Yes, you read that right. Christoper Cross, The Roots and surprise special guest Michael McDonald performed Cross’ “Ride Like the Wind” in what I can only assume is their first and last performance together. Nonetheless, it was a performance for the ages as yacht rock was definitely in full effect and proved it’s staying power a few weeks ago on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon. Prepare to have your mind, ears and soul blown away.
