An unexpected Sunday night filled with far too many glasses of wine makes today’s late post seemingly appropriate as it’s the filmic equivalent of how my head feels right now. The first trailer for Terry Gilliam’s The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassusfeatures Heath Ledger in his final film performance, Tom Waits as the Devil, as well as Johnny Depp, Colin Farrell and Jude Law playing variations of Heath’s character after his untimely death during the film’s production last year. The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, along with Where the Wild Things are and The Fantastic Mr. Fox, is yet another highly anticipated film coming out later this year (December 25th).
If you’re in town this weekend and you love watching films in a cemetery you’re in luck as LA brings you two classics along with some cartoons from your childhood jumbled just for you.
Silver Lake’s Secret Headquarters bring yet another talented artist into the fold as Jeremy Eaton unveils his latest series of his popular Cartoon Jumbles this Friday. More from the Secret Heads here.
