Imagine The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus

Monday, August 17th, 2009

An unexpected Sunday night filled with far too many glasses of wine makes today’s late post seemingly appropriate as it’s the filmic equivalent of how my head feels right now. The first trailer for Terry Gilliam’s The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus features Heath Ledger in his final film performance, Tom Waits as the Devil, as well as Johnny Depp, Colin Farrell and Jude Law playing variations of Heath’s character after his untimely death during the film’s production last year. The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, along with Where the Wild Things are and The Fantastic Mr. Fox, is yet another highly anticipated film coming out later this year (December 25th).
